BPS Garden

At Bronte Public School, students are diving into the natural world with the guidance of a dedicated parent volunteer. They're discovering plants and wildlife firsthand in the school garden. Recently, they gathered fresh herbs to make herbal tea. It's a hands-on way for them to learn and connect with nature right on their school grounds.

Gardening workshops

Students recently had a wonderful time participating in our school gardening workshops. The children showed curiosity, kindness, and enthusiasm as they planted and cared for seedlings, including lettuce and spinach, in nutrient-rich soil from our worm farms. Many even gave their plants names!

A big thank you to parent volunteers for leading the workshop and for providing a Gardening Workbook for future use. It was fantastic to see students so engaged, proud of their work, and enjoying learning in the garden.

The workshops are a great way for students to connect with nature, learn about sustainable gardening, and develop practical skills that they can continue to use at school and at home.
