Financial contributions and assistance

There are some costs associated with going to school that you may find it helpful to plan and budget for.

Costs to consider include:

• uniforms
• school books and equipment
• excursions
• co-curricular activities.

Voluntary school contributions

Like all NSW public schools, we can request contributions to enhance our educational and sporting programs including elective subjects. School contributions help provide additional educational resources for the benefit of students. Payment is voluntary.

Each year we encourage parents to actively support programs and initiatives that enrich student learning at Bronte. This support occurs through P&C, classes, special events, consultation, research, generous contributions provided by our community… and much more. It is with great appreciation that we provide a parent/carer guide to contributions below. Thank you for the long history of support you provide for high quality programs at Bronte PS.

P&C Voluntary Fundraising levy

Voluntary P&C contribution helps the P&C provide additional educational and wellbeing resources and support to achieve school funding priorities. The contribution is per child and payment is voluntary.

Technology Fund

The Technology Contribution supports the provision and maintenance of technology tools that increase engagement at school and incorporate collaboration, and personalised learning. (Maintaining stock)

Educational Software Subscriptions for Students

The Technology Contribution supports the provision of software to engage and enhance learning. (Software such as Wheelers online, World Book, Storybox, Type -Quick, Reading eggs, E-PM readers).

Bronte PS Library Fund (Tax deductible)

Tax deductible contribution for books and educational resources.

Financial assistance

If you are unable to pay school contributions because of financial hardship, you may be eligible for assistance from the school.

Our principal will ensure no student or family suffers any discrimination or embarrassment over the inability to pay school contributions.
