Out of area enrolment

Online enrolment can also be used for out-of-area enrolment. Please note that out-of-area enrolment procedures are subject to the department’s enrolment policy.

Use School Finder to confirm whether your address falls outside our local enrolment catchment area.

Enrolment process

When completing the online enrolment, you will receive the below message. Please click proceed to complete the out-of-area form.

The criteria for assessment are in priority order:

• siblings already enrolled at the school;
• proximity and access to the school;
• medical reasons;
• safety and supervision of the student before and after school;
• compassionate circumstances; and
• structure and organisation of the school.

Determination of these criteria is made by examining statements made by the parents on the out of area enrolment form.

Once the Principal reviews the enrolment and accepts your considerations, you will receive an offer of placement. You will need to accept this offer of placement within 14 days. Once you accept this offer you will be required to complete the remainder of the online enrolment form. If you do not accept the offer within 14 days you will need to re-enrol.

Please ensure you upload the following documentation with your online enrolment form.

• Child’s birth certificate or passport
• Immunisation status from Medicare
• Proof of address eg Utility bills, rates notice or 12 month lease (a drivers licence will not be accepted)
