School contributions

In NSW public schools, all financial contributions are voluntary. Every student has full access to the curriculum, whether or not these contributions are made. Families may, however, be asked to cover additional costs for optional activities, programs, or events that their child chooses to participate in.

Distance education

Distance education is an equity program for students who are geographically isolated or whose individual circumstances prevent them from regularly attending school. Students must meet one of the conditions in the Distance Education Enrolment Procedures to be eligible to access this program as a full-time student.
